Their innovative idea, which they termed “Eco-Concrete“, integrates Collie fly-ash waste from coal power stations with construction and demolition waste from Perth, culminating in a geopolymer concrete product designed to maximise the amount of industrial waste material in the product whilst ensuring it still meets standard specifications for conventional concrete.
