What We Do

Our Products & Services

At Reformix, we analyse, characterise, and repurpose industrial by-products into high-value, sustainable products for commercialisation.

Our product range includes alternative cementitious feedstocks, alkali activators and precast concrete elements such as garden pavers, benches, planters and interlocking blocks - alongside additional precast options tailored to your project needs. We also provide technical services including custom mix designing for alternative binder and zero-cement geopolymer systems, raw material characterisation and composite testing to support your IP, product development and scale-up.

We specialise in advanced materials characterisation methods and engineering testing, evident from our work in geopolymer binders, supplementary cementitious materials, and other high-performance materials. By transforming industrial by-products, we drive circular economy solutions and advance sustainable construction.

Cement, Concrete & Low-Carbon Binder Mix Designing

Cement chemistry is our specialty, whether for conventional composites or Low-Carbon ones. We transform industrial by-products into Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs) or zero-cement geopolymer binders, concretes and composites. Using precision mix designing, material analytics, and life cycle assessments, we develop high-performance, low-carbon materials with superior acid and fire resistance, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions and promoting climate-friendly construction.

Material Characterisation & Testing

We provide expert material characterisation and testing to monitor materials and products - ranging from chemical reactivity to specialist X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), aggregate particle packing and Electron Microscopy (SEM/EDS)). We also provide assistance with fine-tuning Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QAQC) processes and conduct life cycle assessments.

Product & Process Development Consulting

Our specialist consulting can help you build and develop novel products and processes, identify sustainable and commercially alternative products, repurpose industrial by-products, refine Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QAQC) processes and conduct life cycle assessments. By finding new uses for by-products, we reduce disposal costs, create economic value, and drive eco-friendly solutions while optimising resources and enhancing sustainability.

What Are Geopolymers?

Geopolymers are engineered materials synthesised from naturally occurring minerals and/or industrial by-products. Geopolymers are made via various chemical processes that bind together their material constituents, resulting in a robust and versatile substance. This unique chemical reaction, known collectively as geopolymerisation, creates a polymeric network that grants exceptional strength, durability, and resilience to the material. One of the major advantages of geopolymer materials, unlike conventional cements and binders, is the unique property to maximise waste material encapsulation; a feat that is virtually impossible at the same level with conventional cements.

Through meticulous control of raw materials and processing parameters, our experts craft geopolymer formulations that possess superior mechanical properties, high resistance to chemical attack, and excellent fire resistance within standards and specifications of conventional materials. These materials find applications across a spectrum of industries, ranging from construction and mining to manufacturing, owing to their exceptional performance and adaptability.
