Reformix Materials Group is proud to announce that Reformix Eco-Concrete has been selected as a finalist in Curtin University's 2026 Curtinnovation Awards.
The Curtinnovation Awards recognise innovative technologies and ventures with the potential to create meaningful real-world impact across a broad range of sectors including sustainability, mining, healthcare, artificial intelligence, agriculture and advanced manufacturing.
Being named a finalist reflects Reformix's ongoing commitment to developing practical engineering solutions that address some of industry's most significant challenges, including waste reduction, resource recovery and lower-carbon construction materials.
What Makes Reformix Eco-Concrete Stand Out
Reformix Eco-Concrete was developed as part of our broader mission to transform industrial by-products and underutilised resources into commercially valuable products. By applying materials science, process engineering and rigorous technical validation, the technology demonstrates how industrial materials can be repurposed into high-performance construction products while supporting more sustainable resource utilisation.
For Reformix, the recognition is particularly encouraging as it highlights the growing importance of innovation within the materials and manufacturing sectors. As industries continue seeking ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste and create additional value from existing resources, advanced materials engineering is becoming an increasingly important part of the solution.

The Curtinnovation Awards and Its Significance
The Curtinnovation Awards showcase technologies that have the potential to deliver tangible economic, environmental and societal benefits. Being recognised alongside innovations spanning multiple industries reinforces the role that materials science, process engineering and technology commercialisation can play in addressing complex industrial challenges.
Being named as a finalist provides valuable recognition of the work undertaken by our team, collaborators and industry partners over many years.
We would like to thank Curtin University and the Curtinnovation Awards organisers for the recognition, and congratulate all finalists selected for this year's program.
Looking Ahead
As Reformix continues to grow, we remain focused on helping organisations better understand, optimise and commercialise complex materials, products and industrial processes.
We look forward to continuing that journey and contributing to the next generation of industrial innovation in Western Australia and beyond.
